Limited India's largest manufacturer of stainless-steel wires and the second
largest for steel wires, producing 72,176 metric tons and 206,466 metric tons
annually, respectively, in 2023. This accounts for 20% of the market for
stainless steel wires and about 4% for steel wires. They are used in applications where strength and
durability are essential, such as making springs, cutting tools, and various
industrial parts that need to be tough and resistant to wear and tear. Mild
Steel Wire, made from low-carbon steel with 0.05% to 0.25% carbon, is known for
being flexible, easy to shape, and weld. It is commonly used in power and
transmission, agriculture, poultry, fencing, and construction.
