• You can temporarily deactivate your Zerodha account using the Kill Switch

• To close your account at the request of your employer, create a ticket to empanel Zerodha as a preferred broker

• Account closure requires all dues to be cleared, and holdings or positions must be transferred or exited

• Pending mutual fund orders can be canceled at coin.zerodha.com/dashboard/mf/orders

• To opt for closure-cum-transfer, submit a signed account closure form and a sealed and signed physical or e-signed CMR copy

• Locked-in shares, mutual funds, and government securities must be moved to a CDSL demat account

• Shares can only be transferred within the same account holder and BO status

• Joint accounts can only be closed offline; holders must sign the closure form.
