Difference Between Nifty and Sensex
To analyse and get overview of stock market, everyone looks at the stock market index. Indices helps to analyse behaviour, trend, depth and strength of the stock market. Nifty and Sensex are the major indices of Indian stock market.
What is Nifty?
Nifty is also known as National Stock Exchange Fifty. It is the stock market index of National Stock Exchange (NSE). Nifty consists of top 50 companies of various sectors which are listed on NSE. Companies in Nifty are the large cap companies which are actively traded in stock exchange.
What is Sensex?
Sensex is also known as the Sensitive Index. It is the stock market index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Sensex is also referred as S&P and BSE Sensex. It consists of top 30 companies of various sectors which are listed on BSE.
