Interest-Rate-Derivatives Trading Holiday List Year 2024
The trading members are informed that the national exchange must observe the following trading holidays in the year 2024. The holidays are listed for Interest-Rate-Derivatives segments.
List of Holidays falling on Saturday/Sunday:
*Muhurat Trading will be conducted. Timings of Muhurat Trading shall be notified subsequently.
Market Timings:
Trading on the Interest-Rate-Derivatives segment take place on all days of the week expect Saturdays and Sundays. The timings for interest rate future segments are:
Normal Market Opening Time: 09:00 hrs
Normal Market Close Time: 17:00 hrs
The trading hours will be aligned with that of underlying market in case of change of trading hours of underlying NDS-OM platform.
Note:
NSE CLEARING may however close the market on days other than the above schedule holidays or may open the market on days originally declared as holidays. The NSE CLEARING may also extend, advance or reduce market hours when it deems fit and necessary.

Market Timings
Trading on the Interest Rate Futures segment takes place on all days of the week (except Saturdays and Sundays and holidays declared by the Exchange in advance). The market timings of the interest rate futures segment are:
Normal Market Open : 09:00 hrs
Normal Market Close : 17:00 hrs
The trading hours will be aligned with that of underlying market in case of change of trading hours of underlying NDS-OM platform.
